Memories

The purpose of this site is to share memories of particularly spectacularly great days (or spectacularly not so great days!), or indeed moments.

This page in some ways provided the motivation for the whole site, as I decided that sitting around in pubs and getting more and more wound up about what happened in our misspent youth ("you remember when......"), must be gotten out of our systems and therefore lets put up a website.

By the way the consumption of alcohol, particularly real ale, assists greatly in viewing things that happened a long time ago in a positive light. If you haven't tried it perhaps you should........

This page is likely to feature contributions by myself, people I know and people I don't know. I will be more than pleased to receive interesting stories from other bashers. Criteria should be either that they were very unusual events or that somehow they capture a particularly poignant moment. Obviously they should be railway related and dated 1974-1985.
